Happy Thanksgiving

i hope that your day is wonderful and filled with all of the good things that life has to offer...friends and family, good health and warm memories...sometimes when we look at the news and see all of the sorrow and pain that so many are going through it seems like there's not much to be thankful for...but even in our darkest hours we can still find a ray of hope a spark to keep us going...i've been there and i'm thankful that i'm not anymore and that i've been blessed with so much and i don't mean material things...but with love and friendship and that's a pretty good thing!

A friend of mine, L whom i knew for 7 years and we always hang out together.
One night, she buzzed me asked Hainanese chicken rice chili ginger sauce recipe, i told her it's late and my colleague has gone home, i will get it by tomorrow and email to her.

The next day, i walked 2 buildings and 3 levels up to look for my colleague for the recipe. Finally happily got the recipe and emailed to L. After 5 minute, she came online told me off that's not what she wanted!
She asked me in sarcastic way that how come i do not know what's Hainanese chicken rice?
I mentioned to her, i seldom take chicken rice, to me there's not much different of the local normal and Hainanese chicken rice, and the sauce / dip depends on the shop to offer what kind of sauce/dip they famous for. 
She started to accuse me that : girl, you just admit that your ignorant of it. somemore said you are so into food and it's our local food and you know nothing about  it. you should be familiar with food, and me of thinking highly of you knowing all type of food!
Oh well! should i care about it? Look, as  a friend, i am doing a favor to look for the recipe that you were asking for, at least i put my afford to deliver what i've promised you. But you not even appreciate of what i've done for you and end of the day blaming me knowing nothing. Oh well, it doens't mean you work in Finance you will know A-Z in finance, i into food doesn't mean i know A-Z of all type of food in the world, we are still exploring, learning, tasting all kind of delicious and not so yummy food in this world. So please do not ASSUME, that you put your ASS on ME!
I am unhappy to receive such a remark from you, no thanks for your 7 years friendship. i feel annoyed and offended by your statement. As such, i even went online google Hainanese chicken rice ginger dip recipe for you, but end of the day, you show me your  fucking ass negative comments that you are not satisfy with it.
Yeah, i would have said, Sorry i am no longer interested to help you anymore.
Look, that's the recipe from my colleague who is a chef, be grateful that he's sharing it with you and that i have extended my help to your petty request! And i am working in food & beverage industry but you might need to differentiate that with those who work as a chef.
Come on, can't you be polite a bit?

1st time break the record

I've a friend, K whom claimed that i and another friend of mine, A manage to break most of his 1st records in his life.

• Go window shopping with us, empty handed go home
• Go dine at hawker stall
• Go out with RM10 in his wallet
• 3 person shared 1 dessert
• 3 person car pool together
• Survive a week with RM50 in pocket
  
• Been been robbed 2 days in a row (nothing to do with us)
• Had porridge for whole week
  

I bet there are still many records we need to break in this friend's life span.. ^_^

when we were 10 ish, we were so damn sure what we want.
when we were 20 ish, we no longer sure of ourselves and often are indecisive
when we are 30 ish, we are usually busy and impatience. Thus a lot of people rush into marriage when hit 30 ish.
when we are 40 ish, got family liao ma, so need plan a lot, children's future spending and mortgage
when we are 50 ish, we are damn stubborn
when we are 60 ish, got pension money coming in and investment should be matured already, so got money
when we are 70 ish, a bit bored liao, so will go outside look for friends to lim teh, friends become our important part of life
when we are 80 ish, most of our friends tiong already, so we get pressured don't know when will be our turn
when we are 90 ish, we feel that we have lived most of our life, felt accomplished, no many people can live up to 90 ma

I lost my precious :(

Last night i was terribly sad and devastating.

I lost my precious camera, Canon Ixus 70 at The Curve, Starbuck.

I went back to the shop and check with the Starbuck staff, they claimed never see anything left over. My camera slipped off from my bag, if not mistaken, on their sofa.

Not only lost my camera, my whole bunch 200 over pieces of memorable photos, 2gb memory card which is a gift from HK and a keychain bead crystal ball with my name in it, which is a gift from my friend brought all the way from Shanghai!

Dreadful to have lost something I've to worked hard to get. My 1 thousand flied away!

I hope the person who picked up my camera can be so kind hearted give it back to me, of cause i know the chances are very slim. There's rare to meet those people are honest and kind will return your goods to you as lost and found at public area.

Sigh...i am facing low cash flow to buy a new camera right now. :(
